Bushfires NSW Update : Bushfires Warning Issued by Catholic Education

The Catholic Education Diocese of Wollongong has given FIRE WARNING UPDATE FOR ST MARY'S MILTON.

Dear Parents and Carers of St Mary's Catholic Primary School, Milton, We thank you for your understanding in keeping your kids home today.

The NSW Rural Fire Service Fire Advisory Warning stays at Emergency Level as to the fire consuming as of now wild among Ulladulla and Batemans Bay, and the Princes Highway stays shut down toward the south.

In interview with senior officials at the Catholic Education Office, the choice has been made to REOPEN St Mary's Milton tomorrow (Tuesday 3 December) for those understudies who can get to the school with no hindrance.

Be that as it may, we are consciously asking that families who live in bushfire influenced zones south of the school, for example, those among Termeil and South Durras to maintain a strategic distance from all insignificant travel including shipping youngsters to class.

Once more, our worry is that youngsters could get separated from their families should conditions exacerbate.

This exhortation is preparatory as to the wellbeing of the understudies and staff of our school and depends on the data and counsel we have gotten.

The choice mulls over the specific condition wherein our school is arranged, having various understudies and staff make a trip huge separations getting to and from school under these conditions.

This choice depends on current data and should conditions break down further, the school network will be informed with respect to any progressions to these plans. Our contemplations and supplications are with individuals from the network who have been influenced by these fires, who keep on being under risk or have been emptied from their homes and to the Rural Fire Service for their caring commitment to protecting our locale.
